what touch screen controls?
had to go find the touch screen controls for android build, turns out Id scaled them far far away, I instanced the hud and anything attached to it to make my levels be mostly just levels, that way if I change the hud it changes it for all levels and I only have to do it once. Its good practice to take out as much redundancy as possible, but im crap at that, so I decided to instance the hud for all levels, thing is the touch controls were already instanced inside the hud, so it for some reason decided to add the button offsets on AGAIN. and the controls went to israel for the weekend, so you couldnt see them.
fixed now.
Also Ive had a mess about with the way the parallax scrolling was being done, it had an annoying blip, but doesnt now. I was doing things in the wrong order during the frame so it wasnt updating the stars until the frame after. fine if you are just moving normally, but at the far most left position you get magically teleported to the far right position so it looks like the level goes on forever. (this was quite interesting as any baddies in range have to jump too, as well as bullets and missiles.) very happy with how that works though, the levels can be different widths and the teleport can be in different places, made it quite friendly from a level building type of way.
anyway V1.2.88 (this number means nothing relly but if I change a lot I tend to go up a lot of numbers, and only a few if its a small one, ther eis no system, its just me and adding random amounts)
